No really, cause it's been 9 days since the last post.  Really B Chen?  Really?  Really.  What was I thinking adding another blog?  I'll tell you what I was thinking--I freaking LOVE food.  And I wanna stare.  That's why.

So, today I've done a cheesy play on words and I'll be showing you some s'mores.   Not just any boring-ass s'more--no, no, that's another blog.  I'll be showing some s'mores on crack.  And s'mores with a twist.  And not-so-s'mores s'mores.

White Chocolate Butter Pecan Cookies, A Fat Kid Daily Original!

Yep, true story.  I made my very own cookie creation on Saturday.  And they were yummy!  And beyond easy to make.  I have this thing about complicated recipes--I tend not to do them.  Which is why most of my cookie recipes involve cake mix, like this baby.

Wanna make them?  Hell yeah you do!

White Chocolate Butter Pecan Cookies:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Gather Ingredients:
1 box of Butter Pecan cake mix ( I used Betty Crocker)
1/3 cup veggie oil
2 eggs
1/2 bag of white chocolate morsels. (the normal size bag, not a huge one)

Throw them together:
Combine all ingredients together in a medium bowl, mix.

Scoop!
I used an actual cookie scooper things (like a tiny ice cream scoop)

cookie dough should really be its own food group...

Place in oven for 10 minutes.

So what have we learned here today?  That cookies don't need an ingredient list the size of Cali in order for them to be awesome.  Oh, and that you should always trust my judgement!

Ooh La La Lemon!

Well Holy Shit!  It's actually spring today!  Seriously.  There's sun and everything.  The temperature is over 60 degrees and we are making things happen.  Like this fat kid entry...on lemons!

First of all, mmmmmmm.  There's something about the tartness of a lemon that makes you feel a little less guilty when it's mixed in your favorite dessert.  I mean, come on, lemon cheesecake totally has to be better for you than chocolate cheesecake, right?  Right....Either way, lemon is lovely.  LOVELY.

Cinco de DRINKO!

I don't claim to know anything about Cinco de Mayo.  I'm pretty sure it's Mexico's version of St. Patty's Day, and that there's LOTS of drinking going on!  But then I looked it up....something about beating France?  Anyway, it's definitely a day of celebration and I have just the right drinks for your own Cinco de Drinko party!

Clearly we have our friends over at Food Network giving us savory jalapeno margaritas!  They always know what's up.

I'm all about innovation.  And popsicles.  So this worlds BEST idea was clearly an easy pick for me!  Over at Bakers Royale they've got a kick ass recipe for strawberry margarita popsicles.

Not only is there a recipe for strawberry margarita popsicles, but there's also one for corona beer popsicles.  Yeah, you heard me right.  BEER popsicles.

Pizza makes me weak-za in the Knees-za!

Hellloooo (skinny) Fat Kids! 

As you know, I love all things food.  However, I have a very special place in my heart (and stom) for PIZZA.  Thin crust, thick crust, Chicago Style, meat lovers, Hawaiian, supreme, veggie, mmmm garlic....you get what I'm saying!  I do however have a favorite type--it's pretty simple when you think of all the varieties there are out there....I'm a pan crust, extra sauce, ham and pineapple kinda (skinny) fat kid.  What about you?  Don't be shy, comment are not only welcome, but encouraged.

So yesterday I was all over ooey gooey goodness.  Today, I'm on to the wonderment that is GRILLED CHEESE.  My all-time fav and my restaurant go to.  Mmmmm, I love me a good grilled cheese.  Especially if there's bacon.  Cause we all know, bacon makes everything better.  My puppy is even named Bacon.  I'm just sayin....
